The Pulsatilla is native to Scandinavia, Denmark, Germany and Russia. The fresh flowering plant, including the root is chopped and macerated in alcohol before diluting it and shake it. The Pulsatilla has been used medicinally since the time of ancient Greece. The name derives from the archaic term for Passover Pasch, because plants bloom this time. It is commonly used to treat menstrual health of women, to treat colds and coughs, sinusitis, eye infections and digestive disorders.
