Solgar® CoQ-10 (Coenzyme Q-10) 60 mg Softgels contains KanekaQ-10®, a proprietary form of CoQ-10 fermented from yeast that is biologically identical to CoQ-10 produced by the body. CoQ-10 exists in two chemical forms: oxidized (ubiquinone) and reduced (ubiquinol). Once oxidized, CoQ-10 (ubiquinone) is used in the body where it is transformed and converted to ubiquinol. Reduced CoQ-10 (ubiquinol) behaves in the same way, converting to ubiquinone when it performs its function in the body.
